After more than 16 months of restoration and reconstruction, our legendary Gar Wood Speedster “Miss Persia” was once again a gem at a boat show, this time the 50th edition of Boot Düsseldorf, the world’s largest trade fair for boats and water sports. Almost 83 years after our Speedster was Gar Wood’s show boat at North America’s premier trade show of the Thirties, the Chicago Boat Show of 1936, we can once again presented the new hull and beautiful deck structure – along with some of the original chrome attachments – to the more than interested crowd. A true jewel and a shining example of a 100% faithful reconstruction and restoration. Thanks for visiting us and our trusted shipyard!
