History

This Packard Marine Engine M-245 is one of the few top-restored Marine engines from the Packard post-war era and probably the only one in Europe. Packard was one of the most respected American luxury car manufacturers from the ’20s to the ’40s. Packard engines stood for performance, balance, and reliability. Packard Marine engines were built into the speedboats of the American war marines, and after the war, they were built into many private speedsters and cruisers owned by the American upper class.
