Although many recreational captains and hobby skippers do not enjoy water or land in winter, there are plenty of things to enjoy at Gents Barn this Christmas – our original Gar Wood Speedster, the legendary Miss Persia, has reached the important phase of painting. It is now slowly revealing exactly the views, as it came out of the factory in Marysville, MI, USA at Gar Wood Inc. – well, let’s rather say in the finest manufacturing work and in many hours this beauty was created by master craftsmen. Only fourteen Speedsters were built and just half of them survived – our Speedster has long been lost, but the multi-year, very hard and international search was worthwhile. Be curious about what will happen over the Christmas holidays and return to the public in Spring 2019 – our legendary Miss Persia will amaze you for sure.
